Today we visited Hawaii. It was so much fun! I got to go to the beach and to the zoo. At the zoo we saw tons of cool animals. My favorite was nicknamed the cock-of-the-rock and it was an orange bird with a big head 🙂 He must be really smart for the extra forehead 🙂
We also got visited by a peacock hungry for fries as it was attacking three people at the snack bar for their fries.
After the zoo we went to the beach where I learned to skip rocks. I also saw volcanic rock from a volcano. I even ended up buying two trinkets–a fan that plugs into an iphone and a six-pronged fidget spinner.
We had dinner at a restaurant called the Top of Waikiki and it was a revolving room so we got 360 degree views of Honolulu and the beautiful sunset 🙂
Honolulu was so much fun. I hope to visit again in the future!

Hi Maxx!! It’s Mrs. Washburn’s class checking out your adventures! We miss you and hope you are having tons of fun. Ellie wants to send you more work!! LOL 🙂 We will be checking your blog out weekly, so keep those updates coming. Be safe and bye for now 🙂
Hi Mrs. Washburn’s class-
I miss you guys too. I miss all my friends and classmates and am sad that I only get a few weeks to see you after my trip. Please tell Ellie that I am actually ahead of the class so you don’t need to send me any extra work 🙂
Have fun!

Hi Maxx,
I love seeing what you are up to! We sure miss you in science class. Currently we are studying rocks and minerals. I was wondering if you saw lots of igneous rocks in Hawaii? We learned that there are intrusive and extrusive igneous rocks and how to tell the difference. I will share your posts with our class!
Have fun!:)
Hi Mrs. Greaves’ Class-
Yes! I did see a couple of cool igneous rocks in Hawaii and a bunch of multi-colored shells as well. It was really cool!
I miss the class too and wish I could be there to have my actual trained science teacher working with me 🙂

HI Maxx!
We were just reading about your adventures in Asia! It sounds like you are having an amazing time and we hope you continue to love you worldwide tour 🙂 We are so jealous that you got to eat at a top 10 restaurant! How delicious was it? What was your favorite dish to eat there? How was playing hockey with the Typhoons? Was it a lot different than your practices here? We love being updated on your trip, so keep this blog rolling!

PS- Evan wants to be sure that he tells you to bring us back some candy!! LOL! 🙂
Hi Mrs. Washburn’s Class-
First off, eating at the Top 10 restaurant was really delicious. On a scale of 1-10, probably a 10. My favorite dish was the shrimp and pork spring rolls. Yum!
Playing hockey with the Typhoons was unique. It was really different compared to my practices back in Florida. It was more like a power skating practice but it still was fun. We did one drill where we had to balance on two pucks…everybody fell down but it was worth trying 🙂
I did buy the class a surprise treat but it wasn’t candy. You can tell Evan that Cape Town is supposed to have awesome candy so we’ll try to bring some back from there!
